On your first visit the dentist prepares the front teeth under local anaesthetic. A thin layer is removed from the front surface of the teeth and an impression is taken and sent to the dental laboratory where the veneers are made in the desired shade and shape.

On your second visit the veneers are cemented on the teeth.

Temporary veneers between the two visits cover the teeth.

Composite veneers

Composite veneers can be made directly on the tooth using conventional composite filling material. The treatment is carried out by your dentist and is usually completed in one visit.

The composite is shaped on the teeth to the desired shade and shape. This procedure relies on the dentist's aesthetic skills and experience

The cost of the treatment may vary depending on the dentist, the laboratory it is sent to, the veneer material used and the complexity of the case.
